1. Are you pet friendly?

Sadly, as we are so small, we are not able to accommodate dogs.

2. What is the maximum table size?

We can accommodate up to 10 guests in main restaurant and tables up to 12 outside, in both the lodge and terrace area. Larger tables maybe available mid week but are subject to availability.

3. Can I come for drinks only?

Yes, however, we do only have limited space within the bar area inside. Our lodge area is perfect for informal drinks, where we serve both Pizzas and drinks but you are welcome to order drinks only.

4. Do you serve Pizza on Sundays?

No, we do not offer Pizzas on a Sunday. We serve our traditional set Sunday lunch menu only.

5. Do you sell Gift Vouchers?

Yes, they are available to purchase online or by calling in at The Pear Tree directly.

6. Do you have on-site parking?

Yes, but it does get full at peak times. There is however plenty of on street parking available.

7. Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes we do. We kindly ask that you add this to the notes section when booking online, so we can make the kitchen team aware.

8. Am I able to bring a birthday cake?

We do not allow any outside food or drinks to be consumed on the premises, this includes birthday cakes. Chef is happy to arrange a complimentary birthday/congratulatory plate with a candle so please mention this to us if you are celebrating.

9. Tables of 8 and above?

Tables of 8 and above will be required to order a minimum of 2 courses from our A La Carte menu and may be asked to pre-order when required. Larger tables are sometimes seated in our first floor dining room subject to the table plan for the evening.

10. Children

Children are welcome, though we would expect our younger guests to order from the main menus, as we don't have a separate children's offering.

As we are a cosy and intimate restaurant, sadly we are unable to accommodate babies or toddlers, in the main dining room. We do have limited space in the bar and snug areas between 5-6:30. Please add this info to your reservation notes and give us a call to check.

All are welcome on Sundays. All are welcome in our outdoor dining areas.

11. Considerate Neighbours

At The Pear Tree we aim to be good neighbours and play a positive role in our village community. As part of this commitment, we ask all our guests to support us by respecting our Considerate Neighbours approach — keeping background noise to a minimum, leaving quietly at the end of the evening, and helping us maintain a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. We are always happy to hear from our neighbours, so if you have feedback, please contact us directly at info@thepeartreeinn.net or on 01509 890243, or if you prefer, you may contact Environmental Health at Charnwood Borough Council. While some level of background noise is normal when living near a community pub, we will always do our best to respond to concerns and act considerately.
