BOOK NOW FOR FATHERS DAY - 16TH JUNE

The Pear Tree is a family-owned business run by three brothers; Riccardo, Gianni and Marco

Our father Gino, and mother Janet opened their first restaurant called Mamma Mia’s in Loughborough in 1986.

From an early age we understood what it meant to offer honest hospitality, in a relaxed and welcoming environment, and we carry on that tradition today.

The Pear Tree itself is a well know village landmark that first opened in 1884. Over the years it has seen many events and changes. During WW2 American GI’s stationed at Quorn drank there before embarking on the D-Day landings. In more recent times the Inn has seen many interesting twists and turns, but has always served the community well.

We have now set out to create a new chapter at The Pear Tree; with an interior that reflects a contemporary attitude, incorporating our family heritage, with a mix of influences from warm Mediterranean to urban chic.

We offer a diverse menu of freshly cooked dishes, designed to bring an innovative approach to casual dining. Our bar has a relaxed atmosphere, serving independent and international beers, cocktails and fine wines.

Today’s Pear Tree Inn and it’s contemporary warmth sits comfortably in the setting of this well loved heritage building.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.
